Music Together Policies

If you are registered for the full collection, payments can be broken down into 2 or 3 monthly payments. We accept ONLY major credit cards for payment (no American Express, checks, or money orders). Materials are mandatory and these fees are included with tuition. Once enrolled, you remained enrolled for the entire collection and are automatically enrolled for future collections. Withdrawal policy Families are required to commit to the collection they are currently enrolled in. If you stop attending, you are still responsible for fees for the remainder of the current collection. You may withdraw between collections to avoid being charged. Please inform us by the 25th of the previous month if you are withdrawing to avoid being responsible for charges. For example: Spring Tambourine collection begins April 5th. Enrolled families will be charged April 1st. Please inform us by March 25th to allow time for processing your withdrawal and avoid being charged. Students in the current session are given priority auto enrollment in the next session. For example A student enrolled in the Saturday 10 AM class for summer receives priority auto enrollment in the Saturday 10 AM fall class. Due to the high demand for certain class times and the number of new students constantly joining us, we will not give priority auto enrollment to students who withdrawl for a session. For example if you attend the Saturday 10 AM spring class but withdraw from the summer session, you will not be guaranteed a spot in the Saturday 10 AM fall class. You will however receive priority on our waiting list. Sibling Discount Registered families with additional children (within the same family) will receive a sibling discount. Third child pays the same as second. To receive a discount, families must be related. Friends paying for friends are not eligible for a discount and must pay full amount for each child. Make-ups If you miss your regularly scheduled Music Together® class for any reason, you may schedule a make-up class. Makeup classes can be scheduled on a space-available basis. They must be taken during the current semester and cannot be "carried over." You may schedule your make-up as soon as you know you are going to miss a class. We often see an end-of-semester rush, so try to schedule your make-ups as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Please contact us by phone or email to schedule your make-up class(es). Free class A free class is offered for NEW families only. Please call or email to schedule your first free class. Free classes will be available on first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed. No walk-ins please. Pre-registration is required to avoid overcrowding. Siblings and Other Guests Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are welcome to attend class at any time—no need to ask. Whole family music-making at home is extremely valuable to your child's music development, and attending class occasionally helps family members feel more comfortable joining in. If you would like to bring another guest (including an older sibling who may be home from school), please call the office. Sibling Drop-in Fee $15 per person Class Cancellations Holiday closures will be announced at the beginning of each semester. Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher illness, and for other extraordinary circumstances. You will be notified by email and/or text if your class in cancelled. The class cancellation will be posted on our Champaign School of Music Facebook page. Cancelled classes will be made up at the end of the session.
