Music Together Outdoors - Policies and Procedures
We are thrilled to finally be able to make music together in person with you and yours! In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, we ask for your cooperation in following the procedures outlined below:
Before you leave home: Please do a quick self-assessment and stay home if you or anyone living in your home is showing any one of these symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, other respiratory symptoms or any two of these symptoms: chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. Also, please stay home if you or anyone you’ve been in close contact with has been exposed to COVID-19.
What to bring: The only thing we’ll share is our love for making music together! Please pack a blanket for your family to sit on. This will also provide a clear visual boundary for maintaining distance. You will also want sunscreen and water bottles. You’ll want to be equipped with something to shake, something to click, something to drum, and something flowy. Please email us if you would like to know where to purchase instruments (in case you don't have any at home).
When you arrive: All adults are encouraged to wear a mask and maintain a minimum of 6 feet of distance during arrival, and dismissal. Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before class. There are bathrooms available at our location!
Setting up and enjoying class time: Please bring your own blanket to provide a visual barrier and plan to set up your space a minimum of 6 ft. apart from the next family. Adults are encouraged to wear masks during class time;
Toddlers will naturally want to move around, so adults are asked to be proactive in guiding your child away from other participating families. Teachers will wear a protective, full-face shield in place of a mask while teaching.
Restroom use: Our building is equipped with 2 bathrooms! Families are welcome to use it anytime!
Inclement Weather: Music Together outdoors comes with obstacles beyond our control. Classes will take place online (via Zoom) if it rains or it's too hot. Families will be notified of changes via email
Make-ups: Makeups will be offered via Zoom!
By downloading and signing this waiver form, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the above policies and procedures in their entirety.
